UCPD searches for man who allegedly sexually assaulted student on Hill

University police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a UCLA student Jan. 28.

The student was allegedly sexually assaulted at a UCLA residence hall by a man she had met through an online dating application, according to a UCPD alert.

The man was white, about 200 pounds and 6 feet 1 inch tall, and in his early 20s, according to the alert.

UCPD advises students to report any suspicious activities to the police and to be cautious when using dating applications.

The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this case can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
