Some are small, some are huge – each game No. 1 UCLA plays it likes to approach the same way.

But for everyone outside the water, this weekend’s Crosstown Splashdown is the most anticipated match-up of the season. No. 2 USC has surged on offense, on defense and in the rankings, and the Trojans are riding an 11 game win streak with a home-pool advantage cq that’s importance, in a match as big as this, cannot be underestimated.
