President Barack Obama to visit Westwood, cause traffic delays

President Barack Obama will visit Beverly Hills and Hollywood Monday and Tuesday, causing some traffic delays along roads around Westwood. Obama will attend two fundraisers, one for Hillary Clinton and the other for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. He will also make an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

The Los Angeles Police Department released the following traffic advisories for Monday.

  • The US-101 and I-405 freeways from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • The area around Sunset Boulevard between Woodburn Drive and N. Palm Drive from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

LAPD released the following traffic advisories for Tuesday.

  • The area around Sunset Boulevard between Woodburn Drive and Palm Drive from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
  • The I-405 and I-10 freeways from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

LAPD will also close the east and westbound lanes of Sunset Boulevard between N. Whittier Drive and N. Bedford Drive between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
