UCPD searching for suspect who entered student’s room without permission

University police are searching for a person who entered a UCLA student’s room without permission Sept. 21.

The student told university police someone entered her unlocked room in De Neve Fir while she was inside her bathroom, according to a UCPD alert. She said she heard the person rummaging through her belongings and did not confront him or her.

The student did not report any stolen or missing items.

UCPD could not provide a description of the suspect.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends students to secure all windows and doors.
