UCPD investigating report of on-campus sexual battery

University police reported a man grabbed a UCLA student’s breasts and buttocks in a residence hall Thursday night.

The student told UCPD she was visiting a friend in Rieber Hall on Thursday about 7 p.m. when a man she knew inappropriately touched her, according to a UCPD alert.

The man was described as black, 18 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds with short black hair, according to the alert. UCPD did not specify whether the man is a UCLA student.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.
