This year’s Pac-12 Preview in Kohala, Hawaii, concluded with the sixth-ranked UCLA women’s golf team winning its first tournament of the season Tuesday.

The Bruins achieved a seven-shot victory after being knotted in a tie for the lead with Arizona State at the conclusion of Monday’s play, finishing one-over par after 18 holes Tuesday.

In the final event of the season, junior Bronte Law finished with even-par 219. Law, along with freshman Lilia Vu, was five-under, with Vu making six birdies and Law making five.

Law finished tied for fourth in the tournament, while Vu tied for eighth. Law was UCLA’s best performer this year at the Nanea Golf Club.

Senior Louise Ridderström was a one-over par, and finish tied for 10th overall, while freshman Bethany Wu and sophomore Lydia Choi (playing as an individual) tied for 15th with an overall of four-over par. Sophomore Erin Choi tied for 32nd.

The Bruins now prepare for early February, when the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge is scheduled to begin in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
