University police arrested a manager at the UCLA School of Dentistry for allegedly raping a drugged individual.

The man, who is the training manager and clinics liaison at the dentistry school’s public health and community dentistry department, was arrested in his office at 10960 Wilshire Blvd. on Tuesday, according to police logs.

UCPD spokeswoman Nancy Greenstein said the alleged rape occurred off campus, but could not confirm whether the person assaulted is affiliated with UCLA.

Greenstein added UCPD does not know which drug was used during the rape.

The man was released two days later after posting $100,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records. He is scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Superior Court Airport Courthouse on Nov. 4.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

Anyone with information about this can call UCPD at 310-824-1491.
