UCPD searching for suspects in fraternity house burglary

University police are searching for a group of people who entered a UCLA fraternity house on Landfair Avenue on Aug. 23 and stole a UCLA student’s cell phone.

The group entered the Sigma Phi Epsilon house at 522 Landfair Ave. at about 1 a.m., according to a UCPD statement. The student reported the incident the next day, according to police logs.

The police statement did not include descriptions of the people.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends students to lock all doors and windows.
