UCPD searching for two men who stole from a Levering Avenue apartment

University police are searching for two men who entered a UCLA student’s apartment Friday and stole a laptop and a pair of headphones while the student was inside.

The men walked into the student’s apartment at 885 Levering Ave. between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday and stole the laptop and the headphones, police said in a statement.

The student reported the incident to police Tuesday.

The first man was described as black, 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 22 years old with blue eyes, short black hair and a medium build, according to the statement. The second man was described as white, 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 20 years old with blue eyes and blond hair.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends students secure all windows and doors.
