A day after adding three-star recruit Osa Odighizuwa to its 2016 class, UCLA football received a verbal commitment from quarterback Matt Lynch, Bruin Report Online first reported.

Lynch, also a three-star recruit, is the first quarterback to join the class. The longtime Colorado State commit wavered after multiple coaching changes at CSU. On his visit to the campus Wednesday, the junior accepted an offer from UCLA on the spot.

The Broomfield, Colo., product stands at 6 feet 5 inches and 185 pounds. In his junior season, Lynch threw for 1,210 yards with 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
