The original version of this article incorrectly stated Robin Anderson is the No. 2 singles player by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings. In fact, Anderson is No. 1.

UCLA women’s tennis senior Robin Anderson was named the Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year Tuesday afternoon, making it two years in a row that she’s won that award.

Anderson, currently ranked the No. 1 singles player by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings, posted a 19-2 record in singles play this season and a 9-1 in conference play. The senior battled back from a sprained ankle earlier in the year.

Now that Anderson has repeated as player of the year, she will look to lead the Bruins to a repeat as national champions. The road to Waco, Texas and the NCAA championship begins Saturday at noon against Idaho in the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

Five Bruins receive all-conference honors

Anderson, along with fellow senior and doubles partner Chanelle Van Nguyen, juniors Catherine Harrison and Kyle McPhillips and sophomore Jennifer Brady, all received all-conference accolades Tuesday. Anderson was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team, while Harrison and Van Nguyen were named to the second team. Brady and McPhillips received honorable mention.
