Junior college transfer Ikenna Okwarabizie committed to UCLA Sunday morning following a weekend visit to campus.

Okwarabizie was a standout player for Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, and is originally from Nigeria. He transferred to high school in Iowa in 2013, but there were issues with his high school transcript from Nigeria and Okwarabizie had to take the junior college route because he was ineligible for the NCAA.

Okwarabizie comes to Westwood with three remaining years of eligibility. His commitment helps further fill the void left by the departure of freshman forward Kevon Looney for the NBA draft.

Okwarabizie turned down offers from Iowa State, Iowa and Texas in favor of UCLA.
