Forward Jonah Bolden cleared to begin practicing with team

Jonah Bolden is finally taking the floor for UCLA, albeit the practice one.
The freshman forward was certified to begin practicing with the team Monday.
The four-star recruit will not be able to play in any game for the short-handed Bruins this season, as he is still ineligible following a NCAA ruling in September that deemed him a partial qualifier.
This was following a move from Bolden’s native Australia to Findlay Prep in Nevada and then to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire after his senior season in Australia had already begun.
UCLA has missed the 6-foot-10 forward’s presence this season as the Bruins battled inexperience and a lack of depth. UCLA has received just 9.2 points per game from its bench and has been limited up front without junior center Tony Parker in the lineup for the last two games.
