UCLA student’s MacBook stolen from dorm room on the Hill

A UCLA student’s MacBook was stolen from his dorm room on the Hill on Monday afternoon, police said.

An unknown person stole the laptop about 4:40 p.m. Monday from a room in De Neve Holly, where it was sitting on the student’s desk.

The dorm room’s door was propped open prior to the burglary, according to a UCPD statement.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings and lock their windows and doors.
