UCLA student reports two peepings into Roebling Avenue apartment

A UCLA student reported two peepings into her student apartment on Roebling Avenue last week, police said.
The student saw a man looking into the window of her apartment about 8 p.m. on Sept. 8, according to a university police report. The man left after he saw her looking back at him.
The student then reported a similar incident at 2:10 a.m. on Sept. 10, according to police logs. Police have not made any arrests in connection with either case.
UCPD described the man in the first incident as white, bald and 30-35 years old. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt, according to the report. It is unclear if the second incident involved the same man.
In the same apartment building, another series of peepings was reported over the course of several days in late January.
The man reported peeping into the building in January was described as about 30 years old, black and 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build.
The cases are under investigation. No additional information was available.
Several peepings have been reported in Westwood in recent months, and police have arrested multiple men in connection with some of the incidents.
In June, Paris Arnaud, 36, was arrested in connection with peepings on Roebling Avenue and Kelton Avenue.
In July, UCLA alumnus Thibault Mathieu, 29, was arrested for allegedly peeping into a Kelton Avenue apartment.
In August, Christopher Mendicino, 47, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and ordered to stay away from Westwood for three years after pleading no contest to charges stemming from six peeping incidents.
UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings, lock their doors and windows and contact police if they see anything suspicious.
