An unknown person entered through the student’s unlocked door and took the phone while he was asleep between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a university police report.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings and lock their windows and doors.
