As the college football season begins this week, two former UCLA players determine their futures.

Sophomore defensive end Kylie Fitts, who announced his decision to transfer just before fall camp began three weeks ago, will join Utah and will sit out the 2014 season, returning for the 2015 season. Fitts, a former four-star recruit, played in six games last season and was credited with one tackle before missing the remainder of the season, undergoing surgery on his hand.

Torian White transfers

Former UCLA offensive tackle Torian White is transferring to Hampton University, according to Damond Talbot of nfldraftdiamonds.com.

White was arrested on Nov. 17 on suspicion of sexual assault and suspended from the team indefinitely. Coach Jim Mora announced in April that White had been dismissed from the team. White was later dismissed from UCLA in May.
