Graduating students can start purchasing tickets Tuesday afternoon for the Colleges of Letters and Science main commencement ceremonies on June 13.

Through MyUCLA, each graduating student can order one student ticket and four guest tickets. Students can also go on a waitlist for two additional guest tickets.

The last day to purchase the tickets is May 13.

Students can pick up tickets at the Central Ticket Office between May 20 and June 6. During that time, additional tickets will also be distributed equally to all students on the wait list if tickets are available, said Mary Ries, an administrative coordinator for UCLA Division of Undergraduate Education.

Students will receive a MyUCLA notification if their requests for additional tickets are fulfilled.

Randy Schekman, a Nobel Prize winning biology professor and UCLA alumnus, is scheduled to speak at the ceremonies – one at 2 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. – in Pauley Pavilion.

Students with International Institute majors, such as International Development Studies or Global Studies, can only buy tickets for the 2 p.m. ceremony, Ries said.

Starting Tuesday, students can also sign up for the departmental graduation celebration scheduled for June 14 or June 15 by confirming their attendance through MyUCLA. Four guest tickets are available for no charge, while additional tickets for the celebration cost $12.
