UCLA men’s golf finished seventh at the Pac-12 Championship held at The Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Ariz. this weekend.

Over the 72-hole weekend tournament in the desert, the UCLA Bruins shot a team score of 1,489 (+49), well short of tournament winners Stanford at 1,438 (-2).

UCLA sophomore Lorens Chan helped lead the Bruins, posting a weekend total of 289 (+1) which was good enough to place him seventh among individual scores. Senior Anton Arboleda and junior Preston Valder also made significant contributions, recording final scores of 297 (+9) and 300 (+12) respectively.

UCLA will look to improve beginning May 15 at the all-important NCAA championships, where a win can change an entire season.
