A UCLA student reported Monday that a man attempted to sexually assault her on the Hill earlier this month.

The student told university police a man she knew approached her near Saxon Suites about two weeks ago and attempted to sexually assault her, according to a UCPD report. She resisted and left the area.

She sustained minor injuries, according to the report.

The man was described as in his early 20s, black with a stocky build and short black hair.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

Anyone with information can call UCPD at (310) 825-1491.
