University police are searching for a man who peered into women’s shower stalls in Sproul Hall last week, according to a UCPD statement.

A student told police
Thursday she was taking a shower at 3 p.m and saw a man looking at her over the shower stall door.

A second student said she saw somebody hold a black rectangular object, possibly a cellphone, over the stall door while she was taking a shower two hours later.

The man was described as white, 35 to 40 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 with a stocky build, blond buzzed hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark gray sweater and dark gray pants. He also had wrinkles on his forehead.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings and contact police if they see anything suspicious.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident or similar incidents can call UCPD at (310) 825-1491
