Class of 2015 point guard Aaron Holiday announced his verbal commitment to UCLA Monday, as originally reported by Scout.

Holiday, who plays for Campbell Hall High School and resides in North Hollywood, is the No. 16 point guard in ESPN’s Class of 2015 rankings. He is Scout’s No. 2 Class of 2015 point guard and is the No. 40 player in the Class of 2015 according to Rivals. He is listed as a four-star recruit by all major recruiting services except for ESPN, which has Holiday rated as a three-star recruit.

Holiday is the younger brother of former one-and-done UCLA guard Jrue Holiday, who played for coach Ben Howland during the 2008-2009 season and currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. His sister, Lauren Holiday, is a redshirt freshman guard on the UCLA women’s basketball team.

Holiday’s commitment is just one in a series of recent recruiting victories at the point guard position for coach Steve Alford and his assistants. On Jan. 8, UCLA gained a verbal commitment from Chino Hills High School’s Lonzo Ball, a five-star point guard and the No. 1 Class of 2016 recruit in California, according to ESPN.
