Sophomore guard/forward Kyle Anderson and sophomore guard Jordan Adams have been suspended by coach Steve Alford for Thursday night’s game against Oregon for a violation of team rules, UCLA Athletics announced Thursday afternoon. The suspension will last one game, reinstating the two starters for Sunday’s game against Oregon State.

Adams is currently UCLA’s leading scorer with 17.2 points per game, while Anderson averages 14.9 points per game and leads the team in assists per game (6.9) and rebounds per game (8.6). Adams also remains three steals shy of UCLA’s single-season record of 82.

No starters have been officially announced as replacements for Anderson and Adams, though UCLA’s first two guards off the bench all season have been freshmen guards Zach LaVine and Bryce Alford.
