Call Me Kuchu

Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill, a legislative proposal that could make homosexuality punishable by death, is explored through the film “Call me Kuchu” by Katherine Fairfax Wright and Malika Zouhali-Worrall. David Kato, Uganda’s first openly gay man, and retired Anglican Bishop Christopher Senyonjo work against state-sanctioned homophobia while facing persecution. A question and answer session will follow the film.
