In Windsor’s Wake: Marriage Litigation in a Post-DOMA World

The Works-in-Progress series, a series that will address marriage for the LGBT community within the United States will be led by David Codell, a visiting Arnold D. Kassoy Senior Scholar of Law, legal director and nationally recognized expert in constitutional issues and civil rights law.

The Vagina Monologue Auditions

The third annual Vagina Monologues will be produced by SANAA and the Office of Residential Life. The Vagina Monologue is looking for talented women who love the stage or just want to be a part of the movement of female empowerment. Email [email protected] for time slots and audition excerpts. No theatrical experience required. Auditions will run until Nov. 14.

21st Annual Law Forum by the Pre-Law Society

The Pre-Law Society at UCLA will have its 21st Annual Law Forum for students to learn about law school and meet with representatives from more than 60 approved law schools throughout the country.

Trans 101 Workshop

The LGBT Campus Resource Center will be holding a workshop to introduce faculty, staff and students to the complexities of a transgender identity. Tips for talking to a gender nonconforming person and vocabulary and terminology will also be discussed. A lunch discussion will be held from 12-1 pm at the LGBT Campus Resource Center. UCLA Real Estate Case Competition

The Undergraduate Business Society at UCLA is partnering with UCLA’s Anderson Ziman Center for Real Estate and IMT Capital, to hold its first Real Estate Case Competition. The event aims to bridge the gap between the classroom and workplace by providing students with a real estate case study with a focus on real estate finance and investment.
