“I set this up every Tuesday and Thursday during my lunch break. I only have time for one thing – slacklining or lunch – so I decided to to get the best of both worlds.”

I came across these six playing an intense game of kickball. They were all really hustling too – going after fly balls and hustling to tag the kicker out. "We're professors here. Our kids go to the UCLA Lab School together."
"Do you guys come here to play often?"
"We try to as much as we can."
What a beautiful thing that should be done way more.

"I take pictures of people I meet around Westwood. Do you mind if I get a photo of you ladies?"
"I don't know. We are not from Westwood. We are from Mexico. I came to visit my son who is a student here."

“I’ve been doing this since I was in junior high. I’m 31 now.”
“Why do you like it?”
“There are no limitations. In kendo, experience counts a lot. Sixty-year-olds can beat college kids. Every day I feel like I’m at my best.”

"Did you folks just arrive from somewhere?"
"Oh no, we've been here for a few days now. We just departed from our previous accommodations."
"Where are you from?"
"Manchester, England. We're visiting our daughter who's in class right now."
