In the third matchup of the season between Pac-12 heavyweights UCLA and Arizona, the Wildcats have proven to be the stronger team early on.

With 20 minutes left to play to determine who will be the first team to punch its ticket to the Pac-12 Tournament final, Arizona leads UCLA 30-26.

After dominating UCLA’s high-scoring effort against Arizona State on Thursday afternoon, senior guard Larry Drew II and freshman guard/forward Shabazz Muhammad are a combined one-for-seven shooting for a total of two points.

Freshman forward Brandon Ashley of Arizona leads all scorers with nine points, followed by redshirt junior forward Travis Wear, who scored eight points.

The winner of tonight’s game will play the winner of Oregon-Utah tomorrow night.
