Long Story Short – January 7, 2012

Long Story Short returns for the first show of winter quarter with Taylor Erickson and new host Davey Kim. Second year anthropology student Zoe Robbins,  who is on the On Camps Housing Council committee in charge of Harry Potter week at UCLA, discusses the significance of J.K. Rowling’s books for this generation and tries her hand at some wizard trivia. Also, students share their favorite moments and quotations from the series. Later, Daily Bruin Arts and Entertainment contributor Aalhad Patankar joins the show to discuss a handful of the movies that came out over the last quarter, award nomination predictions, and more.
