UCLA men's basketball 2011-12 schedule

In addition to the UCLA men’s basketball team announcing its home sites for next season, UCLA’s full schedule was released.

Highlighting the non-conference slate is the Bruins’ trip to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational. UCLA will host Middle Tennessee State in a “Maui-on-Mainland” game at the Los Angeles Sports Arena before heading to the tournament. The field includes Duke, Georgetown, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan, Tennessee and host Chaminade.

UCLA will also host Texas, projected to be a top 25 team in 2011-12, and Richmond, a Sweet 16 team in the 2010 NCAA Tournament.

In all, 14 games will be played at the Sports Arena, four at the Honda Center in Anaheim and one yet-to-be-determined exhibition game at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.

“Nothing would be as good as being on campus, but I’m excited,” UCLA coach Ben Howland said.
