The UCLA men’s tennis team will compete in the Pac-10 tournament this week in Ojai.

Although they are coming off their biggest win of the season, a 4-3 victory over then-No. 4 USC six days ago, the No. 8 Bruins will be competing individually in the Pac-10 championships.

Five players will be competing in the singles draw for UCLA.

Junior Amit Inbar received the No. 5 seed in the weekend tournament and represents the highest-seeded UCLA player. The only other Bruin player seeded is fellow junior Nick Meister.

Inbar will take on Stanford’s Denis Lin in the first round today at 11 a.m. Meister will go up against Cal’s Sky Lovill at 8 a.m.

Also competing for the Bruins are seniors Kallim Stewart and Matt Brooklyn, as well as freshman Maxime Tabatruong. Stewart will take on Washington’s Tobi Obenaus at 11 a.m. today, and if Stewart is victorious, he will most likely take on the tournament’s No. 1 seed, USC’s Robert Farah.
