Decade in Review: Stage Moments

From wardrobe malfunctions to TKOs, the stage can host some dangerous ““ and sometimes comical ““ events. While some catastrophes have elicited laughing reactions (Fergie wetting herself), others brought about fear (Rage Against the Machine riots, Beastie Boys concert invasion). Several of the most dramatic occurrences were initiated by fans throwing things onstage, causing some artists to break out their inner divas and call for punishment. That is, if they managed to stay conscious through the onslaught (Akon throwing a boy off stage, Brendon Urie getting knocked out). Still, the ultimate eye-burner of the decade goes to Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Superbowl, in which Justin Timberlake “unintentionally” ripped her top off at the end of their performance.
