Students celebrate tradition, history, future in cultural
show

On Saturday, April 15, Samahang Pilipino presented Pilipino
Cultural Night, the group’s annual celebration of Pilipino culture
at Pauley Pavilion. Over 200 students contributed to the event
through dance, drama and music, and the presentation brought to
life Pilipino tradition and history. The five-hour program was one
of the largest cultural assemblies held on UCLA’s campus in terms
of production, casting and viewer turnout. The presentation
included traditional Pilipino folk dance as well as more modern
performances.
